Overview

The Department seeks to procure Security Guarding Services at the North-West Regional Office, Rustenburg, for 36 months. The contract covers 24/7 security guarding (including public holidays) with 2 armed guards per day shift and 2 armed guards per night shift, plus access control, patrols, incident reporting, and risk/threat assessment support for the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources NW region.

Requirements

• Mandatory PSIRA registration for the company; PSIRA certificates for Directors/Members and Security Officers (Grade C minimum) with QR verification.
• Firearm competency certificates or licenses for the company and security officers (certified within the past 6 months).
• PSIRA Good Standing certificate; COIDA (Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act) COIDA letter.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS or CoDP number; separate TCS/PIN for each consortium member; CSD number if no TCS.
• Demonstrated capability to provide 24/7 security including mobile supervisor visits, TRA within month, reporting/investigation of incidents, and adherence to GCC requirements.
• Compliance with prescribed bidding documents and forms (e.g., SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and related pricing schedule.
