Expression of Interest to prequalify CIDB Grade 2SO or higher contractors for a contract panel to undertake plumbing building works (including emergency procurement) for the Eastern Cape Department of Education, for three years. The ECDoE invites EOI submissions to form a prequalified database of contractors, who must have active CIDB 2SO+ status and be able to perform plumbing works. Evaluation comprises Phase 1 compliance and Phase 2 functionality; admitted contractors join a qualifying list and may be invited to tender as needs arise. Key qualifications include CIDB registration (2SO+), a Plumbing Trade Test, VAT/Tax compliance and CSD registration, no JV applications, and location considerations. The process requires completing the official forms and returnable documentation, and adherence to CIDB/CIPRO/SARS requirements, with submission through the official channels. There is no briefing session. Documents are available from the ECDoE website or the National Treasury eTender portal; submissions must be in a sealed envelope by 11:00 on 10 November 2026 to the Zwelitsha office.
