Overview

The RFQ seeks a one-off supply, installation and commissioning of biometric access control readers for the AIDC, to integrate with the existing access control infrastructure. This invites service providers with biometric access control expertise, OEM authorization to supply/install/commission biometric systems, PSIRA registration, and National Treasury CSD registration (with active status), capable of replacing faulty equipment at AIDC sites and delivering end-to-end integration.

Requirements

• Pre-qualification: Signed OEM letter or certificate confirming authorization to supply, install, and commission biometric systems; Valid PSIRA registration.
• Registrations: Provide National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) details and active status.
• Documentation: Fully completed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form), and SBD 6.2; Integrity Pact fully signed; Pricing Schedule completed.
• Compliance: POPIA consent for processing personal data; SARS PIN to verify status (where applicable); BBBEE documentation (sworn affidavit or SANAS-verification certificate) to claim specific goals.
• Evaluation: 80/20 weighting (price 80; specific goals 20); provide evidence for BBEE level if claiming points; CIDB/Safety considerations only if construction-related services apply.
