Overview

ISDG Civil Engineering Mentor Services for a period of three (03) years. The project seeks an accredited service provider to mentor Civil Engineering candidates under the ISDG programme for KSD Municipality. Bidders should be an independent contractor with ECSA registration (Professional Engineer/Technologist), with at least 5 years of mentoring candidates for professional registration, and able to deliver training plans, progress reports, and final close-out documentation.

Requirements

• Independent contractor with minimum 5 years mentoring candidates for ECSA registration; accredited with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist; provide CV and proof of registration.
• Demonstrate ability to deliver Year 1–3 deliverables: training plan, mentoring program, and periodic progress reports; final close-out report.
• Pre-qualification: experience (40 pts), expertise (40 pts), methodology (20 pts); minimum 70/100 to proceed.
• Submit MBD 1–9 and Annexures A–F with supporting documentation (appointment letters/purchase orders, stamped references, etc.).
• Tax and supplier status: original Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) or SARS PIN/CSD number; BBBEE documentation; compliance with PPPFA 2022.
• Ensure local compliance (e.g., local supplier database) and adherence to contract terms, including performance security and warranty where applicable.
• Pricing must be provided in the MBD3.1/3.2 schedules; pricing must align with the contract terms and escalation rules.
