Overview

RFQ for the fabrication and installation of Exhibition Cabinetry, Display Fixtures and Glasswork for the MTN x UJ Exhibition and Amanzi eAfrica exhibition. Suitable bidders are service providers with demonstrated experience in exhibition fabrication, cabinetry, joinery, display fixtures, glasswork and public-museum installations, and who can provide required registrations and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven portfolio: at least five relevant projects in the last ten years, with non-pixelated images, descriptions, completion dates, and client contacts.
• Compliance documents: CSD supplier number, Tax Status/Tax Pin, valid Tax Clearance; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Tender forms: completed RFQ submission, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 documentation.
• Site and standards: compulsory site visit/measurements before fabrication (Annexure A); compliance with National Building Regulations and relevant SANS standards.
• Capability: proven ability to fabricate/finish/install high-quality cabinetry, display fixtures and casework for public museum environments; no low-quality boards where specified.
• Project-specific: ability to deliver at Iziko sites within project deadlines; evidence of previous museum/exhibition fabrication preferred.
• Preferences: adherence to 80/20 price/specific-goals scoring; indication of how specific goals (e.g., HDI/B-BBEE) are claimed.

• Documents to submit (at minimum): detailed pricing structure (VAT inclusive), BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, Tax Certificate/Pin, CSD report, completed RFQ, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, portfolio with client references.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD supplier number, tax status verification, and tax pin; valid BBEE status.
