Overview

Procurement of jointing and termination of electrical cables by qualified electrical contractors (CIDB 1 EP PE / 1 EB PE or higher), with mandatory supplier registration and a non-refundable tender fee. Bidders should be electrical contractors meeting the CIDB grading, registered on the NMBM supplier database, and prepared to submit a formal proposal by the stated deadlines.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1 EP PE or 1 EB PE or Higher
• Compulsory Clarification Meeting: 28 July 2026 at 11:00, MUNELEK BUILDING TRAINING CENTER, 46 Harrower Road, Gqeberha (latecomers barred)
• Registration on the NMBM supplier database
• Tender must be submitted on official forms, in sealed envelopes, clearly showing contract number and description
• Tender fee: R 830.00; proof of payment required (non-refundable) (see Advert 08-07-2026.pdf)
• Tender validity: 90 days

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from SCM Tender Office or Kariega offices (non-refundable per set) (Advert 08-07-2026.pdf)
• Pay the tender fee of R 830.00 and provide proof of payment
• Ensure NMBM supplier database registration (041-5063274/3266)
• Attend the mandatory briefing on 28 July 2026 at 11:00 (address above)
• Prepare responses on the official bid forms; do not re-type or copy
• Submit bids in sealed envelopes to either Harrower Road or 17 Sellick Street, Kariega, by 11:00 on 20 August 2026
• Public opening shortly after 11:00 on the closing date; ensure submission in the specified boxes
