Overview

Procurement of mechanical engineering services for Ladybrand Magistrate Office: replacement of roofs and associated damages. Suitable for mechanical engineering service providers, including firms with registered professional mechanical engineers/technologists or multidisciplinary practices with appropriate supervision. Key eligibility includes current professional registrations with ECSA and demonstrated capability on similar projects.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering business with full-time supervision by a registered professional mechanical engineer or technologist (or a multidisciplinary practice with equivalent supervision).
• Returnable documents proving current professional registrations and registration numbers for all principals/key personnel; proof of registration for any directors/partners as applicable.
• Evidence of experience on comparable projects in the last 5 years; references and project details as required.
• Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance (as per C1.2.3 and tender data).
• Completion and submission of all returnable schedules and forms, including Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1), DPW-09 PSB, Activity Schedule (C2.2.2 or C2.2.3), DPW-16.1 (tender clarification), DPW-21 (Record of Addenda), PA-11 (Bidder’s Disclosure), PA-15 series (board/consortia resolutions).
• Compliance with BBBEE/ownership goals where applicable (EME/QSE ownership, local area, disability, youth; point allocations vary by contract value tiers).
• Access to offices for inspections and provision of documentation for key personnel and capabilities.
