Overview

This tender seeks bidders to Lease and Operate the Franchise Retail Spaces (Student Bar) at the University of Venda, Thohoyandou Campus, for 60 months (PU8013/028). Requirements

• Compulsory briefing and site inspection for SA/01/2026 (Student Bar): 12 August 2026, 13:00, UNIVEN Research Conference Centre (PU8013/028).
• Closing date for electronic submissions: 21 August 2026, 23:59.
• Tender documents available for purchase: R1,150 (VAT included) via PURCO SA (from 30 July 2026).
• Submission method: Electronic submission through PURCO SA online portal (online-tender-submissions-guide provided).
• Submission content: Tender documents submitted as per PURCO SA process.
• UNIVEN reserves rights: not necessarily the lowest tender; may award to an empowerment company or via a joint venture; may award whole or part without furnishing reasons.

• Prepare and submit the proposal per the tender documents.
• Submit electronically by 21 August 2026, 23:59 via the PURCO SA online submissions portal (see online-tender-submissions-guide).
• Attend the mandatory briefing on 12 August 2026, 13:00 at UNIVEN Research Conference Centre.
• For bid documents, obtain them through PURCO SA; the PURCO SA site is the source if attachments are not provided.
