Overview

Lease of the remaining extent of a portion of the remainder of portion 10 of the Farm STERKLOOP 688 LS Athletic Club for a period of 9 years and 11 months. Polokwane Municipality invites bids for leasing this municipal asset; bidders with experience in property leasing/asset management and compliance with municipal procurement rules should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: must be tax compliant; provide SARS PIN/TCS status (or proof) and use e-filing if applicable.
• Bidders must have a valid CSD number or proof of CSD registration.
• If foreign, complete Part B:3 questionnaire; otherwise, tax/compliance remains the same.
• Complete and submit all required bid forms (Forms A–F) and the Schedule of Prices (MBD 3.1); adherence to GCC and any special conditions.
• Proof of municipal rates/taxes or valid lease agreement; comply with procurement policy and 80/20 evaluation (price vs specific goals).
• Bidders must not be in the service of the state or listed as tender defaulters; compliance with SCM rules; bid validity period of 90 days.
• Site/briefing requirement: mandatory briefing session and site inspection as part of responsiveness criteria.

• Submission deadline: 21 September 2026 at 10:00; bids deposited in the Polokwane Civic Centre bid box and opened in public.
• Briefing/site inspection: 31 August 2026 at 10:00, New Peter Mokaba Stadium Complex, Executive Lounge (mandatory).
• Submission method: sealed bid in envelope clearly marked with bid number/description; documents downloaded from the e-tender portal and Polokwane website (PM13-26/27 LEASE.pdf).
• Documents to submit: completed official bid forms (A–F), MBD 3.1, declarations, JV agreements if applicable, proof of municipal payments, tax/compliance documents; price schedules; proof of CSD/SARS TCS.
