LEASE OF VEHICLES ON AN AS-AND-WHEN REQUIRED FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS

Overview

Supply of VMware Software Licenses for 36 months to Knysna Municipality; IT/software licensing providers with VMware capabilities should bid. The procurement is via a competitive bid with an 80/20 preference points system; documents are available free of charge for download; submission deadline is 25 November 2026 at 12:00; enquiries close by 16 November 2026; bids remain valid for 180 days.

Requirements

• Bids evaluated under the 80/20 preference points system per policy and PPPFA Act 2000 and Regulations 2022 as amended.
• Bids must be submitted on issued bid documentation, sealed, clearly marked with bid number and title, and placed in the SCM bid box; late or unmarked bids will not be considered.
• No bids from persons in the service of the state as defined in the Regulations (GOV Gaz No 40553, dated 20 Jan 2017).
• Bids must remain valid for 180 days; the Municipality may request validity extensions.

• Submit bids by 12:00 on Wednesday, 25 November 2026; sealed in an envelope marked with the bid number and title and placed in the SCM bid box at the Finance Building, Queen Street, Knysna 6570.
• Bids must be on the issued bid documentation; telephonic, facsimile or e-mail bids will not be accepted.
• Bids will be opened on 25 November 2026 at 12:05.
