Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) to be eligible
• Not in the service of the state; if a non-natural person, no director/manager/shareholder in the state service; not an advisor contracted to the municipality
• Annexure A (compulsory):
  • Copy of company registration certificate (CK) or equivalent
  • Certified ID copy (for individuals)
  • Copy of current municipal account or Lease Agreement (landlord’s municipal account) (Compulsory)
  • All forms completed in full (Compulsory)
• Tax compliance status pin and CSD summary report are optional/non-compulsory
• Tender document fee: R450 (non-refundable) payable in cash or debit/credit card
• Bid evaluation: 60 points for functionality; 80 points for price; 20 points for specific goals (PPPFA framework)
• Briefing is compulsory

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from Legal & Administration Department from 23/06/2026 (Room B207, Municipal Building, Wanderers Ave, Middelburg) against R450 (cash or card) (see advert BS06/06/2026 LEASING OF WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS FOR RECYCLING PURPOSE RE ADVERT.pdf)
• Submission: fully completed tender documents in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with “Tender No. BS06/06/2026: …” and “NAME of TENDERER”; place in tender box (1st floor, Room B207) by 12:00 on 21/07/2026
• Submission method: in the tender box; late or non-compliant submissions will not be considered (see advert)
• Briefing: compulsory clarification meeting on 07/07/2026 at 10:00, Solid Waste Depot, Municipal stores (Magasyn), Cnr Walter Sisulu & Protea street, Middelburg (1050)
