Overview

Leasing of office space / accommodation, archives and parking bays in the Port Elizabeth CBD. The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality invites landlords, property managers and developers with suitable PE CBD spaces to submit quotes for long-term leasing, including office space, archives storage and parking bays, under a municipal RFQ process.

Requirements

• Tenderers must be registered on the NMBM supplier database. (011 numbers: 041-5063274/3266)
• Submit bids on the official forms provided by the Municipality; no re-typing or copying.
• Tender fee: R1,739.19; provide proof of payment.
• Clarification meeting is non-compulsory; details: 12 August 2026, 10:00, Woolboard Exchange Council Chamber.
• Tenders must be in sealed envelopes, clearly stating contract number/description, delivered to the specified SCM offices between 08:00–16:00; open publicly shortly after 11:00.
• Validity period: 90 days. The Council may prefer previously disadvantaged small/medium contractors per SCM Policy.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 03 September 2026, 11:00.
• Submission method: sealed bid envelopes placed in the tender box at the SCM offices in Harrower Road, North End PE, or at 17 Sellick Street, Kariega (between 08:00–16:00 on weekdays); bids opened publicly after 11:00 on the day.
• Required documents: bids must use the Municipality’s official forms; include proof of tender fee payment.
• Pre-qualification: must be registered on the NMBM supplier database.
• Briefing/clarification: non-mandatory briefing on 12 August 2026 at Woolboard Exchange Council Chamber (see above).
