Overview

Leasing of the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) Sidings/Facilities, Siding 603341 (Hlobane) for a period of ten (10) years. This opportunity targets bidders with proven rail/logistics and property lease capability, including investment, development and ongoing operation of sidings, and the ability to sign a Lease Agreement and comply with TRIM policies, environmental and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrate extensive experience in integrated logistics planning/operations and provide a verifiable company profile with relevant references (Annexure Q; Annexure R for individuals). Include at least one client reference letter.
• Prove financial capacity: funding commitments (debt/equity), bank letters, audited financials for >3 years (or rationale for shorter histories) and, where applicable, parent/company guarantees.
• Tax & registration: provide SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number; valid SANAS B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; ensure compliance for consortia/JVs.
• Environmental, safety and risk: obtain environmental approvals, safety plans (Annexure P), BCM plan (Annexure O), Risk Plan (Annexure M/N), and a Detailed Investment Plan (Annexure K).
• Investment and end-of-lease conditions: submit Detailed Investment Plan (immovable/movable assets) and outline maintenance responsibilities; end-of-lease asset condition review.
• Specific Goals: commit to B-BBEE, job creation, Black Women Ownership and Local Enterprise participation (Annexure J).
