Overview

RFQ to supply and install LED VEHICLE LIGHTING SYSTEM for Cape Town International Airport runway/taxiway inspections. Bidders should be capable LED lighting systems suppliers with installation capabilities for ARFF-supporting vehicles; include related equipment such as portable power sources and light-trips as specified.

Requirements

• Supply and install a LED lightbar system on vehicles used for Runway/Taxiway inspections; include 60 LEDs, Cree XP-L Hi, 9–32V, IP68, ~33,600 lm effective, weight ~4.96 kg (as per specs in the RFQ).
• Include Portable Lithium Battery Power Stations (qty 3) and Portable Lighting Tripods (qty 3) per the pricing schedule.
• Compliance with ICAO Annex 14 lighting standards (night/low-light inspections).
• Tax and procurement compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; VAT registration; submit Central Supplier Database details; provide required SBD forms and BBBEE documentation.
• Returnable/administrative documents: SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Confidentiality Agreement, BBBEE certificates, proof of disability (if claiming), Certificate of Incorporation, VAT/CSD details, and ACSA terms.
• Security vetting may apply; as a National Key Point, compliance is mandatory.
• Validity period: 120 days; prices must remain firm during this period.
• Bidders may be required to prove claims for specific goals under the 80/20 preference system (and related scoring).
