Overview

This RFQ seeks load testing and certification of four scissor lifts and a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of twenty scissor lifts. Bidders should have scissor-lift testing, certification and diagnostic capabilities, with relevant accreditation/authorization (including OEM capability where applicable). Required compliance includes tax clearance, BBBEE certification, and standard bid documentation.

Requirements

• SARS Tax Clearance Certificate (or proof of application)
• Tax Clearance Certificate
• Valid BBB-EE Certificate
• SBD1 – Invitation to Bid
• SBD4 – Declaration of Interest
• CIPC Document
• Evidence of qualifications for personnel (at least one tester and one diagnostician)
• Valid certificates for testing equipment
• Relevant accreditation/registration/authorization to perform the work
• Clear diagnostic methodology and reporting format (per scope)
• Ability to provide fixed diagnostic fee per lift and total for 20 lifts
• Adherence to the pricing, turnaround time and renewal/validity requirements (90-day validity)

• Documents to submit: completed SBD forms, BBBEE certificate, tax clearance, CIPC, and technician qualifications; pricing must align with Annexure A (see SAA Annexure A - Pricing Schedule 1 (002).xlsx).
• Pricing approach: per-scissor-lift pricing for diagnostics (20 units) and per-l lift load testing, including labor, equipment, and transport; repairs to be quoted separately (see Pricing Schedule).
• Clarifications: the diagnostic findings may form the basis for subsequent repair RFQs; appointment for diagnostics does not automatically authorize repairs.
