Requirements

• Eligibility: meet Eskom Tender Data; not restricted from doing business with Eskom or state entities; not sanctioned; not submitting multiple tenders; joint ventures must be jointly liable; no conflict of interest; authorised signatory; not on National Treasury defaulters list.
• Technical/operational: gatekeeper criteria (affiliation to a local taxi association or route permit, BNRC); vehicles not older than 3 years, <150,000 km, no jockey seats, 3-point seat belts; vehicle inspection at Kendal gate; proof of ownership; passenger liability insurance.
• Personnel: driver must have ≥3 years driving experience, valid Professional Driver Permit, relevant licences; submit CVs; driver to accompany vehicle with appropriate documentation.
• Contractual/Compliance: NEC3 Term Service Contract (TSC3); CSD registration; mandatory bid returnables (SBD forms, annexures, integrity pact, CPA declarations, tax questionnaire); payment terms; 80/20 price/qualitative evaluation; functionality threshold (≥80%);
• Site/clarifications: compulsory clarification meeting on 08 Oct 2026 at Kendal Power Station; attendance mandatory; transport departs Kendal main gate 09h30; ID and PPE required for site visit.
