Overview

Routine maintenance and spot improvement of Lotonyok – Uhuru – Tendwo Road (F7075) in Uasin-Gishu Region. The project is a KeRRA works contract with an estimated cost of about KSh 16.39 million, and is open as a Restricted Tender to Contractors registered in the Uasin-Gishu Region under Category KeRRA/W/3 (Grading and Gravelling Works, Equipment Based).

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications: bidders must be registered in the Uasin-Gishu Region under KeRRA/W/3; joint ventures allowed with joint and several liability; no involvement of public officers; no conflicts of interest; not debarred; must comply with national procurement and competition rules; NCA registration before award; tax clearance; foreign bidders must demonstrate 40% local inputs.
• Tender security: provide a Tender Security of 300,000 KSh (in acceptable form).
• Documentation and compliance: submit Form of Tender, schedules with priced Bill of Quantities, Joint Venture Agreement (or letter of intent to form JV), authorization to sign, and evidence of eligibility/qualifications; include a technical proposal and any other documents required by the Tender Documents.

How to Apply

• Deadline: complete tenders must be delivered by 22 June 2026 at 10:00 (advertisement). Late tenders will be rejected. (LOTONYOK-UHURU document)
• Submission method: hard-copy tenders only; electronic submissions are not permitted. Tenders must be hand-delivered to the Regional Director, KeRRA Uasin-Gishu Region.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced BOQ schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, JV documents if applicable, qualifications/evidence, technical proposal, and any TDS-specified forms.
• Pre-bid events: site visit and pre-tender meeting details are to be provided in the Tender Data Sheet; participation and timing to be confirmed there.
• Registrations: ensure compliance with NCA requirements (registration before contract signature) and tax clearance; foreign bidders must show 40% local content.
