Overview

NMISA seeks quotations for LPKF drilling and milling tools for the LPKF ProtoMats machine. The tools cover a range of micro-cutters, endmills, contour routers and spiral drills as listed in the RFQ (LPKF ProtoMat compatibility). Target bidders are suppliers of precision micro-tooling with experience in PCB prototyping/tooling; ensure compliance with South African public procurement rules (B-BBEE, VAT, company registration).

Requirements

• Provide proof of B-BBEE status level (certificate or sworn affidavit) and claim the corresponding points per NMISA policy (80/20 or 90/10 system) (SBD 6.1).
• Complete and submit the B-BBEE Points Claim and related forms (SBD 6.1) (SBD 6.1.pdf).
• Submit Bidder Disclosure and ensure no disqualifying relationships with state entities (SBD4 Annexure A).
• Pricing: bid prices (excl. VAT) with clear indication of delivery period; VAT applies per local rules (Total price includes 15% VAT in the example).
• Quotations must be firm and valid for at least 30 days; BBBEE certificate required for pricing above R2,000 (notes in RFQ).
• Indicate whether any sub-contracting will occur and provide sub-contractor details if applicable.

• Documents to submit: pricing schedule (excl. VAT) and total incl. VAT, company letterhead, delivery period; BBBEE certificate if applicable. Include completed SBD4 Annexure A and SBD 6.1 forms (SBD 6.1.pdf; Standard Bidding Document (SDB) 4_Annexure A.pdf).
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: include VAT registration, company registration, and relevant business details as per SBD forms.
• Briefing: a briefing session is noted with a venue in the metadata (CSIR Campus, Brummeria, Pretoria); if attending, confirm schedule with NMISA (scm7@nmisa.org).
