Overview

RFQ for Maintenance of Plumbing Infrastructure at Rand Water sites for an initial 12-month period (as and when required). Bidders should be CIDB-registered with a designation of 3SO or higher and have relevant plumbing contracting capability. Submissions are via Rand Water Online Bids Application (online portal); RFQs submitted by e-mail will not be considered. The award is limited to a maximum of 3 suppliers. The bid requires a 90-day validity, and a 90-day+ extension as needed. A non-compulsory briefing is noted as N/A. See the attached RFQ document for full scope and conditions.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 3SO or higher (or capable to obtain prior to evaluation).
• Registration/qualifications: CIDB registration, Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), tax/compliance attestations, SBD forms (4, 6.1), and returnable documents as listed.
• Completion of required forms: Form of Offer and Acceptance, SBDs, and enterprise questionnaire.
• Submission via the Rand Water Online Bids Application by the stated deadline; late submissions not accepted; single volume approach; 90-day bid validity.
• Compliance with CIDB/SHE and safety requirements as per contract data and FIDIC-based general conditions.
