Overview

Maintenance and repairs for streetlights and highmast for a 12-month contract. Eligible bidders are reputable service providers with CIDB grading 3EP or higher and proven Electrical installation/maintenance capabilities (uMzimkhulu Local Municipality, ULM-INFR 002/27).

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 3EP or higher
• Compulsory documents: CSD registration proof; MBD4, MBD8, MBD6.1 & MBD9
• Municipal proof: Rates/services certificate showing no >90 days’ arrears; lease if office space is leased
• Additional proof: Affidavit if accounts are under a relative; marriage certificate if account is under spouse; Certificate of Authority to sign on company letterhead
• Plant/vehicles: ownership of crane truck and cherry picker (or rental/hire with supporting logbook and license discs)
• Tender must be signed by an authorized person; compliant with 80/20 scoring and minimum functionality thresholds (64% / 45 points in the functionality segment; expertise must reach 100%)
