Overview

GDARD Gauteng seeks a service provider for the maintenance and repairs of boreholes, irrigation equipment, and related accessories at Tarlton and Rand West Agriparks. Bidders with CIDB grading 2 SH or higher and the capacity to supply labour, materials and equipment should consider bidding.

Requirements

• CIDB grading 2 SH or higher; capacity to perform all works described.
• Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and Regulations, including:
  • Health and Safety Plan (HSP) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
  • risk assessments, method statements, induction, training, and site rules
  • safety registers, incident reporting, and security measures
• Insurance: All Risk (including public liability) and evidence of insurance; letter of intent to provide All Risk insurance.
• Pre-commencement documentation and approvals (e.g., CVs, competency evidence, safety personnel, project management structure, and relevant policies).
• Proof of registration and good standing with the Compensation Commissioner; other regulatory registrations as applicable.
• Ability to supply required labour, materials, and equipment; comply with agreed scope and security/ site access terms.
• Project duration around 3 months; adherence to quality and safety requirements and site-specific conditions.
• Price/contract framework: adhere to the GDARD contract terms (including 10% performance security or equivalent retention).
