Overview

Procurement of maintenance for a 36-month period of fire suppression systems, panels and fire detectors for Capricorn District Municipality. Open-tender process (COR-A05/2026/2027) inviting service providers with fire protection maintenance capabilities to bid.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; if applicable, flood of TCS certificates; CSD number if no TCS.
• Registration: Central Supplier Database (CSD) number; CIDB status if construction work applies; JV requirements with separate TCS/CSD where relevant.
• Site/briefing: compulsory, attendees must be present at the briefing session.
• Documentation: complete official bid forms (MBD series) and pricing schedule; all pages initialed; black ink; no pencil; signed and sealed bids.
• Attachments: proof of municipal rates/taxes or lease; evidence of professional registrations where required; CIDB (if construction).
• Disqualifications: check “Very Important Notice on Disqualifications” (e.g., non-submission of pages, pencil use, late bids, conflicts of interest, tender defaulters).
• Evaluation framework: 80/20 preference points (price vs municipal goals); comply with GCC, SCC, and applicable legislation.

How to Apply

• Briefing/site inspection: compulsory session on 21 September 2026 at 10:30, Capricorn District Municipality, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane (see BID NOTICE COR-A05/2026/2027).
• Bid documents: obtain for a non-refundable fee or download from the website; documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the bid box.
• Submission deadline: 15 October 2026 at 11:00; bids deposited in the bid box at the address above (24/7 access). Late bids are not considered.
• Submission method: physical hand-delivery to the bid box; electronic submissions are not accepted (per bid procedures).
