Overview

Maintenance of 4500 luggage trolleys and 16 trolley movers at OR Tambo International Airport for 12 months. Bidders must have CIDB status of 3ME or higher (or be able to register prior to evaluation); joint ventures allowed under CIDB rules and with lead partner meeting the grading.

Requirements

• CIDB eligibility: 3ME+ (or capability to achieve it) and CIDB registration; joint ventures must satisfy all CIDB conditions (lead must be 3ME or higher) (see CIDB Bid document Template 07072025_reviewedDM...).
• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD registration; 1 PIN per party in a JV; ensure full compliance.
• Returnable documents: Form of Offer and Acceptance, pricing schedules, service information, site information, and any required schedules; signatories with authority.
• Key personnel: 1 Site Manager (Trade test in Fitter/Millwright/Electrician and N4 or higher) plus 4 Tradesmen (N3/Matric/Trade test or higher); CVs and qualifications must be attached.
• Insurance: Employer-provided insurances plus Contractor’s Professional Indemnity; follow Insurance Schedule; comply with contract data.
• Evaluation framework: Minimum 75/100 for functionality; 80/20 price/preference; B-BBEE evidence; proof for referenced works.
