Overview

Maintenance of MV systems at George Airport for a 12-month period. Airports Company South Africa invites bids from CIDB 2 EP or higher electrical contractors to maintain George Airport’s medium voltage assets under an NEC3 Term Service Contract framework. Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2 EP or higher.
• Fully completed NEC Form of Offer; contract data and service information included in bid.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS; provide TCS certificate or CSD number; separate TCS for joint ventures.
• Staff qualifications for MV works: Technician and Electrician roles with NQF Level 6 Diploma or Accredited Trade Test; ORHVS; relevant experience >5 years; CVs with roles; proof of SAQA where needed.
• References: proof of similar MV maintenance works; letters or completion certificates with client details.
• BBBEE: provide B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; specific goals points; JV requires consolidated B-BBEE certificate.
• Insurance: follow contract data; employer provides some insurances, contractor provides others per C1.4.
• Compliance: avoid conflicts of interest; adhere to PPPFA; functionality threshold (min 70/100) to proceed to price/preference evaluation.
