Overview

Maintenance of roof ventilators and HVAC mechanical systems at OR Tambo International Airport for six months. Airports Company South Africa invites bids from CIDB-grade 4ME or higher contractors with HVAC/mechanical maintenance capability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance at OR Tambo Airport, with electronic submission only.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading: 4ME or higher.
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN or CSD number; separate TCS for joint ventures/consortia; PIN/TCS can be submitted with bid.
• Returnable documents: signed Form of Offer and Acceptance; proof of authority; COIDA Good Standing; and other standard bid documents.
• Functionality (minimum threshold): minimum 80/100 points to proceed to price/preference evaluation, based on resource proposals, qualifications, and references.
• Resource and experience criteria: specific roles with SAQA qualifications (e.g., Site Supervisor – Refrigeration Mechanic/Fitter/Millwright with OHS1; Mechanical Fitter or Refrigeration Mechanic with relevant years’ experience) and minimum years of experience for each role; at least two client references for HVAC-related work.
