Overview

Maintenance and calibration of 107 Flir E8 Pro thermal scanners across Border Management Authority ports of entry, including servicing, calibration, and potential software upgrades. Bidders should have ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, proven thermal scanner maintenance experience, and the capacity to service 107 units. Requirements

• ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (attach copy) and proven track record in thermal scanner maintenance/calibration (min. 3 client letters, dated within 5 years)
• Ability to service 107 scanners (98 handheld, 9 desktop; brand/model Flir E8 Pro; serials to successful bidder)
• Professional Indemnity insurance minimum R160 million
• Tax/compliance: SARS-PIN for tax status; Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or CSD number; original tax clearance where required
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; comply with preferred points criteria
• Bidder must not be in the State’s service and may require proof if applicable; SARS/VAT and local content considerations apply
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of taxes; delivery costs included; 120-day bid validity
• Compliance with general conditions, including possible site visits and arbitration provisions
