Overview

The Nairobi City County Government invites bids for the supply and delivery of maintenance parts for heavy commercial motor vehicles. This open national tender requires qualified suppliers of automotive maintenance parts to comply with Kenyan public procurement rules and to provide timely delivery and after-sales support. Requirements

• Compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 (anti-corruption declarations) and non-debarment.
• Eligible tenderers, including the option for a joint venture (JV) with defined liability and a representative for the JV.
• Eligibility and conformity of goods; evidence of origin, conformity to technical specifications, and, if applicable, manufacturer authorization.
• Tax clearance certificate or exemption as evidence of tax obligations.
• Goods origin: Kenyan-origin sourcing rules apply for certain items; no substitutions from foreign sources where specified.
• Prohibition on conflicts of interest and certain relationships with the procuring entity.
• Compliance with environmental and other statutory restrictions; credible supplier capable of maintenance and spares stocking.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 29 June 2026 at 11:00 (document) [metadata shows 09:00].
• Submission: one original and copies, in a single sealed package, to the Tender Box at Mama Ngina Street, City Hall 4th Floor Room 400; late tenders will be rejected.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Manufacturer’s Authorization (if not the manufacturer); JV documentation if applicable; evidence of eligibility and conformity; tax clearance; any other documents listed in the tender data.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: as defined in the tender data sheet (e.g., tax clearance; registration with authorities as required by ITT 3.11).
• Briefing: any pre-tender conference details will be in the TDS; minutes and addenda will be issued as required.
