Overview

Major service on 300KVA generator on mobile truck. Ugu District Municipality invites bids for the maintenance service of a Volvo 300kVA generator mounted on a mobile truck. Target bidders are providers with generator servicing capability, access to OEM Volvo spares, and ability to supply traceable references; a compulsory site briefing is scheduled, and bids must be submitted via the official bid box.

Requirements

• OEM spares must be used (Volvo).
• Provide traceable references for similar generator servicing work.
• Attend compulsory site briefing on 02 October 2026 at Marburg Workshop (10:00–10:45).
• Submit bids on official forms, sealed, with a 30-day price validity; late, faxed, or emailed submissions are not accepted.
• Evaluation follows PPPFA with 80/20 (price 80, specific goals 20) and may apply either 80/20 or 90/10 rules; the lowest/acceptable price or highest acceptable bid determines system used.
• Required registrations and documents: CIPC registration; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; proof of municipal service payments; if applicable, disability proof; and compliance with GCC/contract conditions.
• Prohibition on awards to persons in the service of the state and related conflict-of-interest disclosures.

• Submission deadline: 12:00 on 05 October 2026; bids deposited in the official Bid Box at 96 Marine Drive, Oslo Beach. No fax/email submissions; late submissions will be invalid.
• Documents to complete/submit: MBD1 (Parts A/B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; CIPC registration; ID copies; CSD registration; SARS TCS PIN; proof of municipal payments; and other supporting documents as specified in the tender.
