Overview

This tender seeks to appoint a maximum of four contractors to repair potable water leaks within Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality, Phuthaditjhaba. Bid should come from service providers in civil/construction and water infrastructure with CIDB grade 6 CE PE or higher (or capable emerging enterprises meeting CIDB/SS deliverables). Required capabilities include leak detection, excavation, pipe repairs, valve/hydrant work, reconnection, testing and reinstatement.

Requirements

• CIDB registration 6 CE PE or higher (or approved emerging enterprise as per bid criteria)
• Attendance at compulsory clarification session
• Fully completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD forms 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1)
• Tax compliance status (SARS PIN) and UIF
• CSD registration and full CSD report
• Municipal rates clearance
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
• Proof of CIDB registration for subcontractors where applicable
• Proof of Compensation Commissioner/insurer registration
• Site/clarification attendance and other standard bid documents as listed

• Submission method: One-envelope hard-copy submission in a sealed Tender Box; include a USB/CD with the electronic BOQ; mark envelope with Contract No VCW380/PWLPLM/24
• Documents to submit: Returnable documents per T2 (incl. Annexure A/B, SBDs, CSD CIDB B-BBEE, tax, rates clearance, CVs), plus required evidence for LEP and subcontracting
