MANUFACTURE, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF BUS BRANDING

Overview

The tender is to manufacture, deliver and install bus branding (vinyl wraps) for Ushaka Marine World. Quotations are invited from service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Supplier Portal to brand eight 18-ton buses with full-body graphics on three sides, using vinyl and window graphics, installed at the municipal depot.

Requirements

• Registration and compliance: bidders must be registered on the CSD and eThekwini Supplier Portal; provide CSD number or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN (TCS PIN); tax clearance required; foreign bidders may need a pre-award questionnaire.
• Admin and bid documentation: latest CSD report; fully completed MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9); bids on company letterhead; where applicable, SARS TCS PIN and pre-qualification requirements for consortia.
• Technical scope: branding of 8 buses (18-ton) with full-body branding on three sides; vinyl wrap and conravision on windows; depot installation at Durban central (Alice Street); 1-year material warranty.
• Evaluation: administrative compliance, mandatory requirements, price and preference points under PPFA 2000/2022 (80/20 or 90/10 as applicable).
• Additional conditions: contract to be governed by MBD7 if successful; adherence to 80/20/90/10 rules and specific-goals weighting.
