Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MATLOSANA COMMUNITY LIBRARY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ARTS, CULTURE, SPORT AND RECREATION, NORTH WEST PROVINCE. The project involves the construction of two new buildings (a library and a guard house) plus external works and electrical/mechanical installations under CIDB Grade 7GB or higher, with JV allowed on a consolidated 7GB. Suitably qualified bidders should also meet compulsory documents (COIDA/FEM, CSD, CIPC, CIDB, tax clearance) and attend the site briefing. The employer is IDT on behalf of the North West Department.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: Grade 7GB or higher (JV must have consolidated 7GB)
• Mandatory documents: COIDA/FEM, CSD (MAAA), CIPC, CIDB registration, tax clearance
• Attendance at compulsory site briefing; Form of Offer fully completed and signed; BOQ priced
• JV agreement signed by all parties (if applicable); proof of SACPCMP registrations for construction manager (PrCPM/PrCM) and health and safety officer (CHSO/CHSM/CHSA)
• Addenda receipt acknowledgment; tax compliance status if recommended for award
• Equal or higher emphasis on previous similar experience, qualifications of key personnel, and financial viability as part of functionality scoring; source documents to verify goals (women/youth/disabled/black ownership)
