MBDA 06054 PROVISION FOR TRAINING SERVICES FOR KARIEGA YOUTH ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

Overview

MBDA invites qualified training service providers to deliver entrepreneurship skills training for 20 unemployed youth in Kariega. The project comprises two in-person modules to be delivered at the Nelson Mandela Bay Science and Technology Centre in Kariega, targeting youth entrepreneurship training. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with SCM requirements (BBBEE, MBD4, MBD9, municipal clearance or lease documents, and proof of banking details).

Requirements

• CSD registration and SCM compliance (BBBEE, MBD4, MBD9, municipal clearance or lease, and proof of banking details)
• Minimum qualifications: two reference letters for Youth Entrepreneurship or Business Skills training; detailed program implementation plan; CV and qualifications of Lead Training Facilitator
• Annexure A – Pricing Schedule completed; quotes valid for 60 days; prices exclusive of VAT
• Delivery: in-person at Kariega Science and Technology Centre; two modules (2 days and 5 days) for 20 youths; provider to supply learner materials; post-module reports within 3 days
• Evaluation: 80/20 price and specific goals; specific goals include B-BBEE status, enterprise located in Nelson Mandela Bay, ownership by black women and black youth
