Overview

• Mechanical upgrade – installation and refurbishment of the fuel depot infrastructure at the KlaWer Diesel Depot. This procurement is an NEC3 TERM SERVICES CONTRACT led RFQ by Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager, open to CIDB-registered contractors with a 3 ME or higher designation and relevant fuel-depot mechanical upgrade experience. Requirements

• Compulsory Clarification Meeting and site visit attendance; signed T2.2-02 certificate required (see Tender.pdf).
• CIDB eligibility: registration at or above 3 ME; if JV, each member must be CIDB-registered and the lead partner meets grading requirements; JV agreement must be certified.
• Functionality threshold: minimum 70 points (Plan 30, Previous Experience 30, Method Statement 40).
• Returnable documents: List of Returnable Documents (T2.1) and Returnable Schedules (T2.2); ensure attendance certificate is included.
• Pre-qualifications: valid Tax Clearance with TCS PIN; SANAS B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CIDB/CRS number; CSD registration; Workmen’s Compensation good standing (WCA) for entity or JV members.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price-preference; specific goals for B-BBEE, Black Youth, Black Women, and PWD; audit rights apply.
• Compliance: no alternative tenders; English language; and related due-diligence provisions.
