Overview

Procurement of a Medical Practitioner for Medical Surveillance under a 24-month contract. Reputable service providers with a General Medical Doctor qualification, registered with the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) in good standing, and licensed to dispense, are invited to bid. The contract requires capacity for occupational health surveillance, including two Occupational Health Nurses and a fully functional surgery with a mobile clinic.

Requirements

• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration or proof/number.
• MBD4, 6.1, 8 & 9; Certificate of Authority to sign all documents; signed on company letterhead by an authorized person.
• Medical Doctor qualifications: MD, HPCSA registration in good standing, license to dispense, practice number; attach CV and certified qualifications.
• Site verification readiness: at least 2 personnel (2x Occupational Health Nurses) with SANC registrations; fully functioning on-site surgery and mobile clinic; proof of clinic ownership or lease.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price–qualifications split; minimum thresholds—Experience ≥50%, Expertise and Accreditation 100%.
• Specific goals: up to 20 points for RDP goals (SA citizen ownership, CIPC/CSD verification, director IDs), plus 10 points for local presence in uMzimkhulu.
• Price validity: 180 days.
