Overview

The tender seeks a service provider for minor repairs and maintenance to Sifonondile Clinic (Sakhisizwe sub-district), CIDB 2GB or higher, for a 4-month construction period. Contractors with CIDB 2GB+ and relevant building experience should bid, including joint ventures with the required CIDB and compliance credentials, and those willing to operate under JBCC Edition 6.2 (2024).

Requirements

• CIDB grading 2GB or higher; joint ventures must meet combined CIDB thresholds.
• Returnable documents: CIDB certificate, CSD registration (full CSD report), COIDA/FEM good standing, SARS tax compliance (TCS PIN or CSD proof), SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and Form of Offer (C1.1/C1.2), POPIA consent, and proof of specific goals.
• A qualified project manager (min NQF 6), an OHS officer (SACPCMP), and a site foreman (2+ years building experience); CVs to be provided.
• At least three client reference letters with final completion certificates, including roof-related works; concise Programme of Works; list of resources, plant and equipment.
• Electrical specialist: particulars of an electrical subcontractor and a qualified electrician with a DoL trade certificate or SETA.
• Schedule of subcontractors and details for any specialist subcontractors; CIDB numbers for all listed subs.
• Five additional onboarding items (e.g., amendments, resolutions, signatures) as per the bid returnable schedules.
