N2 FOSHORE REHABILITATION AT THE PORT OF PORT ELIZABETH FOR A PERIOD OF FIFTEEN (15) MONTHS.

Overview

N2 Foreshore Rehabilitation at the Port of Port Elizabeth for a period of fifteen (15) months. This is a CIDB 9CE civil-engineering coastal rehabilitation project (NEC3 contract) by Transnet National Ports Authority, requiring CIDB BUILD and compliance with CIDB development targets. The works cover marine earthworks, dredging, rock placement and armour units in a live marine environment, with a mandatory compulsory clarification meeting and site visit and electronic bid submission via the Transnet portal.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation 9CE (or higher) and CIDB BUILD Programme applicability
• Valid professional registrations for key personnel: SACPCMP Pr.CM, SACPCMP Pr.CPM, CHSO; Environmental Officer; Quality Officer; Project Planner
• Demonstration of relevant prior experience with reference letters; minimum functionality score of 60; English tender language
• Tax compliance: valid Tax Clearance or SARS TCS PIN and Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
• Health & Safety and Environmental management: H&S Plan, Health & Safety policy, baseline risk assessment, Environmental Management Plan
• Returnable documents: CIDB registration, CSD, BBBEE, Letters of Good Standing, signs of authority (e.g., form of offer) and CVs for key personnel
• Build/engineering governance: evidence of experience in aquatic infrastructure projects and submission of Method Statement and Project Quality Plan
• Tendering requirements: attendance at compulsory clarification/site briefing; no alternative tenders; English documents; use of e-tender portal
