Overview

Construction of the Assistant Chief Office and Washrooms at Njora Chief Camp (Kigumo Constituency). The project comprises substructures, RC frame, walling, roofing, finishes, and windows/doors, with Bills of Quantities provided (BoQ). Eligible bidders are construction contractors with relevant works experience; JVs allowed. Tender is a Works Contract with pre-qualification and compliance requirements (NCA registration before award; tax clearance; local content rules for foreign bidders). Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications as per ITT and Section III (including JV rules, conflict of interest, and prohibition on corrupt practices).
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration required before contract award.
• Kenya Tax Clearance Certificate required.
• Foreign bidders: source at least 40% of inputs locally.
• Tender security or tender securing declaration as specified in the TDS.
• JV arrangements: if a JV tenderer, provide JV agreement or letter of intent; all members liable.
• Debarment checks: not debarred; PPRA and related compliance.
• Site visitation and possible pre-tender clarifications (as per ITT 7–9).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 2 September 2026 at 08:00. Extensions via addenda may apply (see ITT).
• Submission method: physical submission to Tender Box at the entrance of Deputy County Commissioner Kigumo Subcounty offices (Standard tender doc).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; priced Bill of Quantities; Tender Security or Declaration; Joint Venture documents (if applicable); authorization to sign; qualification information; technical conformity; any other documents in the TDS (and JV agreements if applicable) (Standard tender doc).
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: NCA registration before contract signing; tax clearance; debarment checks; nationality considerations for foreign bidders.
• Briefing/site visit: pre-tender meeting/site visit details to be specified in the TDS; attendance optional unless stated.
• Obtain bid documents: from the Procuring Entity as per the Standard tender doc (and the attached BoQ).
