Overview

The NQANQARHU WATER TREATMENT AND DISTRIBUTION UPGRADE: WATER TREATMENT WORKS project invites bids for upgrading the Nqanqarhu WTW and associated bulk distribution infrastructure. Bidders should be experienced construction providers with CIDB grading 8CE or higher, and must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The process is an open-tender with mandatory briefing.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 8CE or higher
• Mandatory briefing session attendance
• Contract duration: 36 months
• Preferential procurement: 90/10 (price/qualifying criteria); minimum 65 points, maximum 100
• CSD registration required for bidders not yet registered
• Tender documents: available online (etenders.gov.za) and on the JGDM site; hard copies available for purchase
• Bid validity: 120 days from closing date
• Hard copy bid document price: R1,500; proof of purchase required
