Overview

Occasional hire of plant and trucks for relocation of households and their belongings from stressed informal settlements to human settlements projects. Bidders with plant hire, truck/logistics capabilities and related equipment should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality supplier database.
• Submit bid on the official forms provided by the Municipality (not re-typed or copied).
• Pay the tender fee of R582.00 and provide proof of payment.
• Tender validity: 90 days from award consideration.
• Submissions must reach the Municipality by 11:00 on 23 July 2026; tenders opened publicly after 11:00 at the specified offices.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from the SCM Tender Office, Harrower Road North End, Gqeberha, or Kariega office, after paying the non-refundable fee (R582). Proof of payment required. (Advert 03-06-2026._ (002).pdf)
• Ensure registration on the NMBM supplier database; contact 041-506-3274/3266 if not yet registered.
• Prepare your bid using the official forms and include pricing as required.
• Submit sealed bids in the tender boxes at Harrower Road or 17 Sellick Street, Kariega, between 8:00 and 16:00, by 11:00 on 23 July 2026.
• Bids are publicly opened shortly after 11:00 on the application date at both venues.
• Note: The Council may not accept the lowest bid; preference policies for previously disadvantaged small/medium contractors apply. (SCM notice)
