Overview

Procurement of scrap conveyor belts located at Duvha and Komati Power Stations for 36 months on an 'as and when' required basis, including purchase, removal, collection, handling and transport. Eskom invites bids from asset-disposal and waste-management suppliers with capability to safely collect, transport and manage scrap material on-site, while complying with Eskom's safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. The sale is on an 'as is' basis (voetstoots) with no warranty.

Requirements

• SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
• Valid B-BBBEE Verification Certificate (or B-BBBEE status)
• Second-hand Goods Certificate from SAPS or licensee
• SBD 4 Form – Bidder’s Disclosure
• Integrity Pact Declaration Form
• Proof of registration on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) or equivalent
• Copies of IDs of Directors
• Authority to Submit a Tender
• COID (compensation) good standing
• Environmental compliance (National Environmental Management Act)
• Compliance with Eskom Contractor Health and Safety Requirements (32-136), Occupational Health and Safety Act obligations, Life-Saving Rules, risk assessments and on-site safety plans
• Ability to arrange on-site viewing/arrangements if needed and to comply with site access, permits and Eskom safety requirements
