Overview

On-site temperature calibrations of laboratory equipment for the Department of Water and Sanitation. This open-tender aims to engage bidders with on-site calibration capabilities for laboratory instruments and requires compliance with SA procurement norms (tax compliance, CSD/SARS status, BBBEE where applicable).

Requirements

• Tax compliance: ensure tax obligations; provide SARS PIN; where applicable, obtain/submit TCS PIN or a CSD number if no TCS.
• Corporate registrations: CSD registration as applicable and separate TCS for each party in joint ventures/consortia.
• BBBEE: provide BBBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs to claim specific goals.
• Bid documentation: submit on official forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1/6.2); sign where required and provide proof of authority (e.g., company resolution).
• Conditions: comply with GCC/SCC; the State may terminate, debar, or require performance security as per contract.
