Overview

This invitation is for a once-off supply, delivery and off-loading of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Johannesburg Water. Bidders should be PPE suppliers capable of delivering the listed PPE items to the Newtown depot, and must attend a compulsory briefing.

Requirements

• Tax/compliance: provide SARS PIN or CSD registration; ensure tax compliance status throughout; MAAA/CSD where applicable.
• Mandatory documents: complete and sign MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1/6.2, MBD 8, MBD 9; sign/board resolutions as needed.
• Local content: complete Annex C local content declaration for PPE items (see ANNEXURES-LOCAL CONTENT PPE ONCE OFF.xlsx; reference items in pricing schedule).
• Proofs: municipal rates and taxes for tenderer and directors; current financial statements if MBD5 applies.
• Other documents: bank details,Public Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity, and any required performance security; authority to sign (board resolution) where applicable.
• Evaluation / goals: BBBEE documentation to claim points; comply with PPPFA regulations; pricing must align with the 80/20 framework where applicable.

How to Apply

• Submission: deposit sealed bid in the Johannesburg Water Tender Box, Turbine Hall, 65 Ntemi Piliso Street, Newtown, by 08 September 2026 at 10:30 (building hours 06:00–18:00, seven days).
