Overview

This is an ONCE-OFF tender to purchase, collect and remove various scrapped items located at Matla Power Station. It is an asset-recovery/scrap-disposal opportunity for bidders with experience in scrap metal/second-hand goods handling, logistics and Eskom-compliant site work.

Requirements

• Valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
• B-BBEE Verification Certificate from an Accredited Verification Agency
• Second-hand goods certificate from SAPS/licensee
• SBD 4 Form – Bidders Disclosure
• Integrity Pact Declaration Form
• E-auction training acknowledgement form
• National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration or proof of registration
• CIPRO/Company registration documents and copies of Directors’ IDs
• Compliance with Eskom Contractor Health and Safety Requirements (32-136) and Eskom Life-Saving Rules

How to Apply

• Compulsory clarification meeting: Matla Power Station, 19 Oct 2026 at 10:00. Attendees must email Ntsako Machebe at Machebn@eskom.co.za by 16 Oct 2026.
• Submission: Return tender by email to Informaltendering@eskom.co.za; subject line must be exactly “OLT2128227”; PDFs only; max 10MB per email; ensure receipt of a confirmation; closing time 10:00 on 20 Oct 2026; late submissions not accepted.
• Required documents: Offer to Purchase form (price schedule attached) plus the items in the Tender Returnables list (Tax Clearance, B-BBEE, SAPS certificate, SBD 4, Integrity Pact, E-auction acknowledgement, CSD registration, CIPRO docs, directors’ IDs).
