Requirements

• Provide Tender Security of KES 200,000 (or as otherwise specified) and ensure compliance with anti-corruption and independence declarations.
• Foreign bidders must source at least 40% of contract inputs from Kenyan suppliers; provide documentary evidence.
• Tax compliance clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority.
• Goods must be registered in Kenya by contract signing; if not yet registered, provide evidence and comply to registration requirements.
• Joint ventures allowed under stated rules; all members liable; proper JV agreement or intent submitted.
• Comply with safeguards against conflict of interest and fraudulent practices; allow entity audit and verification as required.
