Overview

The Overberg District Municipality invites tenders for the operation of Cell 5A at the Karwyderskraal Regional Landfill Facility, including the Organic Waste Diversion Plant and the composting works. Bidders should have experience in landfill management and organics processing, be capable of total-facility operations, and hold a valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate with compliance to SCM policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in managing a landfill facility including Cell 5A, the Organic Waste Diversion Plant and composting facility
• Valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
• Compliance with Overberg District Municipality’s Municipal Supply Chain Management Policy and applicable regulations; preference points determined by the policy
• Tender validity for 90 days from closing
• A compulsory briefing session held 28 July 2026 at the Karwyderskraal Regional Landfill Facility
• Non-refundable tender participation fee of R970 to obtain documents (documents available from JPCE; contact Lusanda Siyeka for payment details)
• Sealed tenders must be delivered to 26 Long Street, Bredasdorp, clearly endorsed with the Tender No; submissions by fax/email or after closing time will not be accepted
