Overview

OPERATIONAL LEASING OF ENDOSCOPY TOWER UNIT (5Years) for Kenyatta National Hospital. Open tender inviting Manufacturers/Agents/Stockists with proven experience to lease and maintain an endoscopy tower unit and related services for a 5-year period (KNH/T/60/2026-2031).

Requirements

• Evidence of recent experience supplying similar leased medical equipment.
• Compliance with two-envelope bidding: submit one ORIGINAL and the required COPIES; pages must be serialized.
• Tender Security: KSh 150,000, valid for 149 days from tender opening.
• Tax compliance: valid tax clearance certificate.
• Eligibility and qualifications: complete Form of Tender and supporting documents; if JV, provide Joint Venture Agreement or letter of intent.
• Declarations: anti-corruption and independent tender determination certificates; no conflicts of interest; jurisdictional eligibility.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from KNH website or PPIP Portal; physical documents may incur a non-refundable fee (KSh 1,000) or may be downloaded free (document notes inconsistencies—confirm locally). Email name/contact details after download (procurement@knh.or.ke).
• Tender submission: deliver to KNH Administration Block, Supply Chain Management Department, by 30 June 2026, 10:00 a.m. (local time) in a sealed envelope with ORIGINAL and COPIES; electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Opening: public opening within 30 minutes after the deadline; venue to be advised.
• Required documents to accompany tender: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security, owner authorization (if applicable), JV documents (if applicable), eligibility and conformity evidence, and literature/drawings confirming technical specifications.
• Clarifications: in writing to KNH; responses may be published on KNH’s site.

Note: Prices must be inclusive of taxes/duties; bid prices remain valid for 12 months from opening.
