Overview

RFQ for provisioning of catering services for OR TAMBO Public Lecture in Alice is issued by the University of Fort Hare. The event is scheduled for 15 October 2026 at the Alice Sports Complex, with food and beverages including light snacks, lunch, and drinks. Requirements

• Compulsory registration on the CSD
• Submission of an Original Tax Clearance Certificate
• Provision of a Health certificate
• Compliance with UFH SCM policy; price evaluation using 80/20 (up to R50m) or 90/10 system with preference
• Completion and submission of SBD forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 9) and related declarations
• Pricing schedule and declaration of interest; contract forms to be completed if awarded
• Ability to deliver specified menu for 400 light snacks, 400 lunch portions and beverages as per the attached specification
• Bid submission must follow stated deadlines and format (attached RFQ documents)
