Overview

Panel for service providers to provide testing, inspection, maintenance, repairs and servicing of low voltage motor control and protection equipment, low voltage motors and electrical distribution equipment at Amatola Water pump stations and water treatment works for three years on an ad-hoc basis. Bid is open to service providers with CIDB registration 2EP or higher, experienced in LV electrical equipment and related maintenance. 

Requirements

• CIDB registration: Active 2EP or higher (valid at tender closing/evaluation).
• Compulsory clarification meeting: 01 October 2026, onsite (Nahoon Dam Boathouse).
• Compliance with SCM policy and returnable documents; JV/consortium rules if applicable.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB, National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, SARS Tax clearance; Department of Labour registration as Electrical Contractor; COID UIF letters; SBD 4; JV agreements and signatories; Addenda acknowledgment.
• Capability: four LV motor control/protection projects in 10 years; qualified Maintenance Manager and Specialist Artisan with specified electrical engineering/ECSA registrations.
