Overview

PANEL FOR THE PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport seeks a panel of security service providers to deliver ongoing security services over 36 months. Eligible bidders should be from the security services sector and hold the required registrations/licences and approvals (e.g., PSIRA registration, directors’ security certificates, ICASA licence) and meet regulatory/commercial prerequisites ( UIF, Compensation Commissioner, liability insurance, SARS tax clearance, CSD registration, directors’ IDs).

Requirements

• Proof of current PSIRA registration for the company
• Certified copy of directors’ Grade A or B security certificate
• PSIRA good standing letter
• ICASA licence registered under the tendering company
• Certified UIF registration
• Certified registration with Compensation Commissioner
• Certified company liability insurance
• SARS Tax Clearance status PIN (or CSD number if no PIN)
• Certified copies of directors’ IDs
• Functional criteria: minimum 50% pass in functionality evaluation
• Administrative compliance and rotation from approved list of providers
