Overview

This tender seeks a panel of 3 service providers for the supply and delivery of batteries, tyres, fitment, wheel alignment, and repairs of rims for Kumkani Mhlontlo Local Municipality’s municipal fleet and yellow plant. Requirements

• Legal/compliance documents: CSD status, SARS PIN, proof of municipal rates or lease, company letterhead quotation, certified BBBEE certificate (SANAS or IRBA-approved) or sworn affidavit.
• Specific procurement requirements: MBD forms completed and submitted (MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9); local content declaration (MBD 6.2); past SCM practices declaration (MBD 8).
• Local content: declaration of local production content per SATS 1286; possible SARB exchange rates if imported content is involved.
• Tender validity: bids hold for 90 days; funds drawn from Equitable Share (availability noted).
• Other: adherence to the municipality’s SCM policy; acceptance that the lowest bid is not guaranteed; submission must be in the prescribed tender box (no fax/electronic submissions).
